Yesterday, Secureveil closed up 27%. This was on a day when the Nikkei 225 fell 503 yen.
Short selling for this stock has been prohibited since the afternoon of October 6th, as the Japan Securities Finance stopped lending shares. The day after, the Tokyo Stock Exchange designated it as a daily disclosure stock. This measure, requiring daily disclosure of margin balances, serves as a warning for overheating. By the time the warning was issued, those attempting to push down the price had already exited.
This month, 10 new stocks have been designated. Six of them are related to security. Zenmu Tech, Secureveil, BroadBand Security, and Cyber Security Cloud, among others, were listed sequentially within half a month. The exchange's overheating list has become a roster for a single industry.
The trigger was an incident at another company. Starting at the end of September, Park24 and Mr.Max announced information leaks, and this month, key parts of the Active Cyber Defense Act came into effect. Stocks of companies that leaked information were sold off, while those selling countermeasures were bought.
Yesterday's top gainers included many stocks with only "Information Security Related" listed as the reason. VLC Security on the MEI NEXT also hit the limit up. The extent of the rise was almost the same for companies that made announcements and those that did not.

きっかけは他社の事故です。九月末からパーク24やミスターマックスが情報漏えいを公表し、今月には能動的サイバー防御法の主要部分が施行されました。漏らした会社の株は売られ、対策を売る側が買われました。
昨日の値上がり率の上位には、理由の欄に「情報セキュリティ関連」とだけ書かれた銘柄が並びます。名証ネクストのVLCセキュリティもストップ高でした。発表を出した会社と、何も出していない会社の上がり幅が、ほとんど変わりません。
